Milkweed Editions is a Minneapolis-based independent non-profit book publisher focusing on fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. They operate a small brick-and-mortar bookstore as well as sell books, audio books, and e-books online.
Content pages on the site are built using Paragraphs, with multiple types available for editors to build dynamic and flexible layouts, and Media Embed is used especially in the Blog section for images, video, and audio.
Books can be purchased through the site using Drupal Commerce, with support for licensed e-book and audio book content with Commerce License. A custom donation checkout was written, including support for recurring donations; and Commerce Discount is often used for promotional coupon codes.
